STUDIO POLICIES/REQUIRED PROTOCOL; MEASURES FOR INFECTION CONTROL:
- COVID-19 WAIVER OF LIABILITY: Clients must sign an "Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19", acknowledging the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assuming the risk that you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending class.
- TEMPERATURE CHECK: Please check your temperature prior to attending class. It is my responsibility to check my own temperature as well. Patients with COVID-19 have had mild to severe symptoms of fever, cough, or shortness of breath — similar to the flu. They've also experienced chills or shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, and loss of sense of smell or taste. While information so far indicates that most cases are mild, symptoms appear to be more severe in the elderly and people with chronic conditions. If you have any of these symptoms, are not feeling well, OR have come into contact with anyone having these symptoms please stay home. Any temperature above 100.4˚F will be deemed a fever.
- FACE MASKS/PPE: As of July 11, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health is requiring clients to wear a face mask upon entering studio as well as when working out. You must be able to breath comfortably while working out - masks with one way valves are not permitted. As an instructor I am required wear a mask as well until further notice (know that I am smiling when I say hello!). Masks that restrict airflow under heavy exertion (such as N-95 masks) are not advised for exercise.
- PILATES or YOGA SOCKS with GRIPS: Please provide your own. This will ensure cleanliness and safety as the grips help prevent slipping; CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE!
- WATER: Please bring your own water bottle to class.
- WASH YOUR HANDS: Prior to entering the studio.
- HAND SANITIZER: Hand sanitizer will be available near the entrance of the studio as well as in the bathroom. Please apply hand sanitizer before and after class. Thank you!
- RETURN FROM TRAVEL POLICY: Clients will be expected to self-quarantine for 2 weeks after travel before returning to class.
- CLEANING: Restroom, studio space, door handles, floors and all equipment will be cleaned after each class with EPA approved products.
- PERSONAL ITEMS: Totes should be used for personal items to limit their contact with surfaces in the restroom (sinks could be an infection source and should avoid placing items directly on counter surfaces) and studio floor. Hooks are available to hang personal items.
- SOCIAL DISTANCING: 6 feet of space between client and trainer is required by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health when possible; there are times throughout class when it is necessary for me to change settings on equipment and assist with and/or spot exercises in which case physical distancing cannot be maintained.
- CONTACTLESS PAYMENT IF POSSIBLE: Venmo is a digital wallet App that allows you to make payments easily.
*Given COVID-19 is an evolving situation, policies will be updated as necessary/required*
